DESIGN CONCEPT
In a scene from the Quentin Tarantino film: "Pulp Fiction" a gangster orders Bruce Willis' character, Butch, to get out of Los Angeles immediately and stay out forever!

Butch steals some wheels to pick-up his girlfriend, who asks where he got the motorcycle? Butch is in a huge hurry, but for the sake of art and beauty takes the time to correct her: "It's not a motorcycle, baby... It's a Chopper!"

With a chopper's gleaming chrome and steel body and fork stretched to the limit, like a race horse striving to win the derby by a nose, the chopper has for decades given riders an open road sensation, a manifest destiny to get somewhere...

Since custom choppers with their sophisticated art-driven designs likens to Haute Couture, runway designs people admire and aspire to, one of the fashion industry's more innovative designers, Irene Zingenberg, with a proven track record in her ability to bring the integrity of her design vision into the area of inspired street'couture, has created a sophisticated style with an edge, unique in the world of fashion.

Established in 1992 Irene Zingenberg build a solid reputation of producing high quality active wear with superior fit and feel under the brand name "IZ Design" and in 1999 she entered a licensing agreement with Arlen Ness, affectionately known as the King of Choppers, to design and manufacture a line of high-end motorcycle inspired fashion for 'after the ride' and the ARLEN NESS Chopper Couture brand was created!

The design concept for this new fashion-forward venture took its inspiration from the unique culture surrounding the Californian custom motorcycle scene with its intriguing art-driven, tattoo inspired designs and has since evolved into a sophisticated, edgy Eco-fashion "Crystallized with Swarovski"  aptly named: Chopper Couture.
