This program was created to highlight and support the designers and organizations who work to ensure that their clothes and jewelry are socially responsible, fair-traded, sweat shop free and made from environmentally sustainable materials.
Chopper Couture will later this year be featured in the "Fashion Fights Poverty's Dress Responsibly 2007 Look Book" which is a style guide and catalogue of ethical and socially conscious fashions and accessories in both print and web format, to show the world that eco-friendly and fair traded fashion can be edgy and cool.
This years "Fashion Fights Poverty" program will benefit "Aid to Artisans" a group that provides economical and sustainable benefits to artisans around the world. "Incorporating benevolence into style and dressing with a purpose is the way of the future" says
